Question

Connect Recording Customization

Hi,

I have couple of questions regarding viewing and customizing the recording.

#1. It is possible to disable sharing of documents in the recording? Right now it allows who ever is viewing the recording to download files when the "File Download" pod is open.

#2. The Events Index (the little arrow on the left of the screen) hovers over the existing presentation. Is there a way to dock it to the recording? So that its always available and the rest of the screen shifts to the right so that the events inder is not covering any of the existing pods? or is it possible to change the location of the arrow. i.e., instead of on the left, have it on the right?

Thanks for any input.

#1 Yes. The easiest method is to either change the permissions on the object in the Files pod, so it is not available to the viewers, or remove it from the server, as it will then not be available for download. You could look at making modifications to the recording source files, but it would probably be more work.

#2 No.

Thanks for the tips Jorma,

However I am unable to reach the permissions in the Files pod. How do I get to them? You mentioned to remove it from the server, how do you do that? We tried deleting the files from the server, while the live session no longer shows the files, the recorded session does.

Also, we would ideally like to leave the recorded sessions on Adobe servers itself.

Btw...I do not have access to the administration tab.

The fix has to do with the files that were offered for download, not the pod in the recording. You can remove them by locating the files, either in the Uploaded Content section of the Meeting room on the server, or in the Content Library. If the files are in the Uploaded Content section, then you can either delete them or move them to the Content Library (if you have permissions to do so). Objects in the Content Library can have their permissions adjusted to allow public access, or private access which requires username and password credentials to access.
