Critical Adobe Connect Bug – PDF Zoom Cropped in MP4 Recordings (Enhanced Audio/Video)

Hello Adobe Connect Team and Community,

We have been experiencing a serious recording defect since early 2026.

When sharing PDF documents through the Share Pod, zoom levels of 150% or higher display correctly during live sessions. However, the resulting MP4 recordings incorrectly enlarge the document, cropping approximately 15–20% of its right side.

Important finding: Disabling Enhanced Audio/Video completely resolves the issue. Unfortunately, this also eliminates direct MP4 recording, making it impractical for our educational operations.

Adobe Technical Support has reproduced and confirmed the issue, but it remains unresolved after several months of investigation.

We also noticed potentially related PDF cropping bugs (4151745 and 4152241) in the Adobe Connect 12.7 release notes.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

We would particularly appreciate input from Adobe Connect engineers or product team members regarding a possible fix or engineering escalation.
