Custom Fields usage

Hello,

We are trying to extend our Connect instance using custom fields. I was able to create a "test" custom field against a SCO object type -but for some reason, I cannot see this new field when editing the information of a object from within the Connect Enterprise Manager. Anybody have experience with custom fields? Thanks!

    Want to clarify, you are creating the custom fields under the Admin tab, Users and Groups, Customize User Profile. Right?

    or are you using the LDAP feature?
