Hi,
I'm new to Connect - I need to deliver a powerpoint presentation with the audio narration thats embedded.

So I don't need phone conferencing, just the ability for them to hear the powerpointu audio.

Hope fully I'm missing something pretty basic - how i it done ?

Thanks a bunch,

Mac

    Mac,

I believe you are still using the trial version of Presenter that you get with a trial Connect account. If you purchased licenses of Presenter with Connect then you just need to go to your Enterprise Manager Home Page (the first page after you log on), then click on Getting Started. On that page scroll down until you see "Publish Presentations" and option 1 under that will be to download Presenter. You must be part of the Authors group to download this, but it sounds like you already are. This should give you Presenter 6.2 and you will have the option to publish locally.

    Mac,

The answer is an easy one, you need Adobe Presenter, a plug in to PowerPoint. It can be purchased through the Adobe agent you purchased your Connect account from or I can work with you for that. Just PM me if you want.

Another option that may work is to use Captivate 3, and import the PPT slides and record audio that way, but if you don't have Captivate, then presenter will probably be the better option.

    Jorma,

    Thanks for that much appreciated.

So I'm a lot further forward now however I can't publish locally using Presenter - only the option to publish to my connect account - which does work fine for small files, however I'm placing quite large files up there for real and I'd rather preview then upload manually to keep everything nice.

    Thanks for the help.
