Question

does one need an adobe ID to attend a webinar that uses adobe software?

In the past I have missed important webinar presentations that have used adobe connect, simply because, for some reason, I could not 'enter' the session.  I have had no trouble entering webinars that use other software.  Please advise.

You don't need an Adobe ID. Depending on the permissions defined for the room you can join as a Guest (just put your name in the text field and enter) or with a Username and Password that is specific to that Connect deployment (should you have one).

Any issue you have with joining the meeting should be directed to the individual or group who is putting on the session.
