Download meetings to ZIP-file doesn't work

Hello,

Previously I was able to download meetings ZIP-archive using the trick with adding output/filename.zip?download=zip to the end of the meetings address to watch them offline. This method doesn't work anymore. Has this feature been disabled?

Ah, that is because you don't have rights to manage the recording. View and Manage permissions are different and you would need to either have Host rights to the room that is holding the recording or you will need Manage permissions for the Recording if it is in the Content library.

Ok, that makes sense. I was able to do it previously and it suddenly stopped working. Maybe they changed the permissions settings.

Ok, I suppose that works if all that you have are chat and screen share. The file structure looks the same from 11.0.6 and the videos still play for me. What errors are you getting?

When I try to add output/filename.zip?download=zip to a meeting link, I'm getting this:

How were you able to watch the contents of that zip file previously?

This has never been a useful way to download recordings so they can be watched, but rather a way to have the source files for the recording so you could make edits or fixes, if you know what you're looking for. Because the contents of that Zip file make calls to the Connect server to load files and access content, if it is not being delivered from the server all those links break.
