Fast forward button on Connect

I can't believe how robust Adobe is in general but still don't have a fast forward button for Adobe Connect recorded sessions.

When will this be a thing on Adobe Connect?

I have found the solution finally! You can download the add on from Chrome, Video Speed Controller, and them you can fast forward your videos, it's very useful!

Please share how you use Video Speed Controller for Adobe Connect! I have downloaded the chrome extension but I cannot get it to work on my professor's lecture. It is 2 hours and 30 minutes long and she talks very slowly so I really need help!!!

Later versions of Adobe Connect includes a 'Playback Speed' selection for recordings. You can playback recordings up to 2x the normal speed. If recordings were made using the later versions, you'll find an arrow next to text '1x' in the bottom-right of the playbar for Connect recordings. It doesn't help with older recordings, but it's the path-forward.

Adobe Connect is kinda useless i have no idea why our school chose it. I simply want to skip the video for 5 or 10 seconds but it is not possible with a button, i have to use the bar everytime. Also i can't download the recordings it says you need Flash Player but that's not even a thing anymore. I mean who made this app? Shouldn't it be user friendly? The teacher have to upload the slide, instead a simple screen sharing would be enough. Also why the design is so ugly, they use a theme from 2010s, there is not enough space if everybody uses their webcam, the chat is always open. What were they thinking about when they created this software? Zoom is so much better than this, i think the developers can learn from them.

Same problem. 2 years after and still not possible.
School won't provide the recordings separately and I don't want to resort to screen+audio recording.

Not sure. It's not as simple as just adding the button, but we don't need to go down that goat path.

If you convert the recording to MP4, you should be able to play it back in a media player that offers that feature.

    Thank you for your response.

Here's a bit of context. I study in this university that uses Adobe Connect for online live classes and they upload the recordings for students to watch any time later. When I access the recordings, they can only be accessed and played through Adobe Connect.  The only way I could access an MP4 file is that either I use a tool to record my screen, save the file and then play it in the speed I want to; or like reverse engineeer the thing to get the video file somehow.

Is there any way where this feature can be suggested to be added to future versions of Adobe Connect?
