File Downloaded from Download Pod downloads as .txt file or other file type issue

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem or a way around this. Also does anyone have the bug report form email address from Adobe Connect?
I work on Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2. My Adobe Connect Application Version is: Win 2023.6.382.64h.
When downloading a file from a filepod to file explorer, if the filename doesn't have the specified file type included, the file downloads as a .txt file or a random file type in file explorer - if the file type is included in the same then the correct file type is available in file explorer.
For example:
This doesn't work
file display name in pod: my_file
actual file name: my_file.pdf
downloaded file: my_file.txt or my_file.my_file
This does work
file display name in pod: my_file.pdf
actual file name: my_file.pdf
downloaded file: my_file.pdf
Desired behaviour
file display name in pod: my_file
actual file name: my_file.pdf
downloaded file: my_file.pdf
