Grey screen when making a recording offline after save location selection

I am trying to save some meeting recordings to my local machine. I have been able to successfully save two recordings in this way, but now cannot seem to get any to work. When I click "Make offline" from the meeting recording list, the Adobe Connect window opens normally. I am given a file browser popup asking where to save the video file to, I select the location I want it to save and hit "Save" but nothing happens. The file browser closes as it should, but the Adobe Connect window is just a flat dark grey screen. I am not given a playback window, the meeting display does not appear, etc. I have tried clearing out my cache and the like, but nothing seemed to help. I have searched around on Google and these forums for a similar occurance but did not find anything that matched what is happening. Help is appreciated.

Hello Joseph and others,

I'm having similar issues and it goes like this. I'm an admin and have set all the rights for sharing the recording. When i push the button "Make offline" recording offline. The add-in will load and the following thing happen after i selected a location:

1. The full movie plays normal.

2. A grey screen appears and nothing happens.

3. The pods appear but stay white while the loader runs normal.

I have tried the add-in for 7.5 this didn't work. I tried to reinstalled everything Adobe Air, Flash, Connect 8 Add-in etc. I tried Explorer 9 and Chrome. It didn't work. When i tried the Adobe Connect Desktop to Fetch a recording it showed a error message, so that didn't worked either. I tried this on 3 different computers, 2 Windows 7 and 1 Windows XP install.

Btw: Playing a recording after clicking the URL works normal (normal mode), playing it in editing mode works fine also. So why is putting it offline don't work? Somebody???

Anyway, I really hope someone will come with a solution to download a recording without any errors.
