Help! Connect Screen Share Problem

I have a problem with a trial Adobe Connect (so I can't get Adobe to help me).
When I share a window (or the desktop or an applications) the participants just see the windows header repeated all down the screen. I can see the same if I look at what the participants are seeing. This makes it totally unusable.
I am using a Dell 8100 Inspiron laptop on a DSL connection. I can see perfectly when someone else is hosting the session and it works perfectly on my partners laptop so it appears to be related to the Dell. I have XP Home which is up to date.
Could it be a problem with the screen drivers (I don't know how Adobe captures the screen).

    Yes I have the same problem. When sharing my desktop with my IBM desktop with my Dell Precision all I see on the Dell is the title bar repeating all over the screen. I do see some text and the mouse, but even if I let it sit for 2 minutes it still doesn't show the real screen.

    But when I do it from the other way (screen sharing the Dell, viewing from the IBM) it works fine.

    Luckily adobe still has the word "beta" next to this otherwise i'd be trolling pretty hard.
