Question

How do you broadcast Webcam during meetings when you are a participant?

Hi all,

We have quite a few doctors at our organisation wishing to use Adobe connect for webconferencing, however when we get invited to a meeting we can never seem to find any buttons to share or broadcast our webcam?

We can see the webcam is connected when we go into the "choose webcam" toolbar, and we can see our little image which tells us it is working, but we can't seem to work out how to broadcast it?

For example, when using MSN messenger or Skype, there is normally a small button that you click on to share video.

Am I missing something? Is this feature only available to full subscribers? I can't seem to find any information about this on the forums.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kind regards

Damian.

That is easy!  The HOST controls that as a security option.  They can enable video and/or audio on a case by case basis or promote everyone or certain people to PRESENTERS.  Presenters are "presenting" and so they get rights to broadcast their camera and audio.

Ahhh, thank you, it is controlled by the host, that's why we can't seem to work out how to turn it on at our end. Thank you

You are welcome.  Time to educate the host and ask them to share the love so you all can share your faces with everyone else!  :-)

Set participants to Full Screen to maximize viewing space for sharing  applications, showing PowerPoint presentations or leading a Web Tour.
