How to Record Audio Coming out of Speakers

Question

When recording a meeting is there a way to record the audio that comes out of a computer's speakers? For example, if I wanted to play/share a YouTube video, is there a way to record the audio that goes with that video? It seems like all that gets recorded is what goes into the microphone so I know that one option would be to turn up the computer's audio and record that into the microphone but the quality isn't really good (we've used that option before). I'm wondering if there's a better way.

Wouldn't it be easier (and better quality) to share the video in the share pod so the video is part of the recording? eSync has a YouTube pod, though you may need the paid version to better support your recordings, eSyncTraining - Live online Adobe Training Classes and Web Development Courses.

If you are playing a video back via screen share, then the attendees are getting a pretty bad experience with the visual aspects of the recording as screen sharing runs at 3-5 Frames Per Second (FPS) while videos tend to run at about 30 FPS. So much of the video isn't being seen. If you can download the MP4 version of the video or use the YouTube pod, you shouldn't have a need to do a work around for the audio.

Though if you have a computer with 1/8 inch microphone in and speaker out ports you can get a cable that will link the two, that should allow the audio to broadcast back through connect.
