How to remove pop-up boxes from screen share windows

Question

I'm seeing occasional small blue boxes with white cross-hatching in the corner of a share pod in which another person is sharing their screen. These boxes appear to be some kind of Connect pop-up box on their end that is being blocked by the screen share. I'd like to shut them off. Is that a configuration at their end or at mine, or is it a room-wide setting?

These are most likely chat notifications that display when someone is posting a chat message in the room. They can be turned off by going to Meeting > Preferences > Chat Pod and selecting Disable for the Chat notification options. Alternatively, the individual sharing their screen can share their secondary monitor (if they have one) and the notification will not show in the visuals to the participants or the recording.
