Hello all, I'm trying to hyperlink to a folder on my harddrive. Eventually I want to burn this directory to a cd. However, my drive letter (C) is different from other users harddrive letters. I'm trying to hyperlink so that the link will work on all drive letters. I've been unsuccessful and was wondering if anyone had a solution. I'm using professional 8. Its been very frustrating and i'm at wits end. I've tried leaving the drive letter blank but it doesn't work. Any suggestions. Any help would be great. Thanks

Local file paths only work on the computer from whence they came. Your best option would be to PDF whatever is in the file, or burn your PDF to a CD with the file you want associated and that way you can list a hyperlink to the file on the CD. Every user will have the CD at that point and the hyperlink will work.

Hyperlink to file on you computer = only works on your computer.
