I need access to an old account that has the same email address as my new account

I recently took over an Adobe account from another marketing employee, and therefore updated the email address for the account. 

Now, I have gotten my own account using the same email address, which means that I can no longer access the old account (which I need to because I need to extract some receipts). 

How can I get access to the old account?
