Question

IE10 and FF Not Loading Adobe Connect Add-in. Then They Crash

I could really use some help with this one.  We have recently seen a rash of IE and FF browser crashes when the PC attempts to load a connect session.

Here's what's happening:

1. PC has all installed components (Flash, Add-in, etc)

2. PC Connects to Adobe Connect Session/Room

3. PC does not load Add-in, instead keeps the session in FF or IE

4. Browser crashes (Both IE and FF)

PCs have most recent version of Add-in and most recent version of Flash.

Is there a way to force the add-in to load to connect directly to the room/session by bypassing the browser?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi 3920390239,

Check if you have add-in installed on your machine :

For that go to :

%appdata% -> macromedia --> www.macromedia.com --> bin --> adobeconnectaddin

if add-in is installed and you don't have any config preent on your mahcine then meeting will gets opened in add-in only and not in browser.

As you mentioned you have Add-in installed  : Then try to open the meeting in IE by clearing cache and make sure there is no mms.cfg present in

System32/syswow64 under macrmed folder.
