Is Adobe Connect "Add-In" free?

Is Adobe Connect "Add-In" free?  I want to attend a webinar for which the host is using the software and requires that I download the Add-In.  I don't have enough business need to pay for the software.  I don't have admin rights for downloads, so I'd like to know if it's free or not before I bother with my IT department.

    Yes, It is an you can Install the add-in by downloading the standalone installer.

    Thanks. Your answer is dated 2013. Is it still free for attendees in 2017, should I use the Connect Mobile app instead of the add-in?

    Connect mobile app and Connect add-in both are free to use.

      Hi Process Dr,

      yes the connect add in is free of charge as a participant, andin many cases should be easy to download without thehelp of your IT department (depending on their security restrictions).
