Is it possible for participants to view room recordings in Adobe Connect Central (without the URL)?

I have Connect set up for online learning, and students should have access to every recording of every room they have access to.

 

There's a lot of classes, so sending each student the URL for each recording requires so much effort.

Students have a "Recordings" tab in their Adobe Connect Central but there isn't any recording there, the list is empty.

 

How can I make it so they can view recordings from the list instead of having to send each of them the URL?

The list shows recordings associated with Meetings in your My Meetings folder. So the recordings will never show for all your students. 

 

One solution may be to set up a folder in the Shared Content or My Content library where you place your recordings after they are created. Then you could provide a direct link to that folder (assign approprate Viewing permissions for that folder) and they could access and view all the recordings from there.

Following up on Jorma's response...

 

If students log into the room as registered users and are in the participant list for the room, then they also get permission to view the archives for the room. Those recordings would show up on their 'recordings' tab in Connect Central.

 

Another way to manage permissions for archived sessions is to move them to a 'Content Folder' as Jorma suggests, and make sure that the folder has 'View' permissions for all of the students (could be a managed as a custom group of registered users). The recordings in Content folders for which registered users are given 'view' permissions will also show in the 'Recordings' tab of Connect Central.
