Issues installing Adobe Connect 9.1 with SHA-1

Hello,

First post here but I did look around some and could find anyone else with this same issue. I am installing Adobe Connect 9.1 on a machine but it looks like it almost completes on the progress bar and then it closes out. Nothing shows up in the Application Event Viewer. One thing I did notice was that under the Digital Signatures tab it shows it being signed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and the Digest Algorithm is sha1 with a Timestamp of Friday, July 27, 2007 1:44:38 PM. The reason I bring this up is that fact that we just had the following Windows update install, KB3123479 (MS & TechNet Links).

So my what I think is happening Adobe Connect 9.1 is not installing due to the KB blocking it since it is after the date and is not signed by a SHA-2 cert. Will Adobe be releasing a newly signed copy of the software? Anyone have an idea?

Odds are Adobe won't release a newer version of the Connect 9.1 installer. If you want a newer version you should look at the Connect 9.2, 9.4 or 9.5 installers.

So I would be fine with that but when I go to the following download page: Link

It shows the following Meeting Add-ins for Adobe Connect 9

Download latest Adobe Connect 9 Meeting Add-in for Windows (version 11.9.975.228, ZIP format, posted on Jan. 7th, 2016)

and I download the newest version and I check the Digital Signatures tab it shows it being signed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and the Digest Algorithm is sha1 with a Timestamp of Friday, December 18, 2015 3:11:51 AM

Which is still putting me in the same boat. 9.1 is just what we had used in the past and never had any issues and that is why I tired it but now even the newest version is having this issue. This switching over to non SHA-1 signed installs has been known for quite some time and surprised this has not been brought up yet.

So are we talking about the installer for the the Connect server software or the Add-in? Your first post seems to be asking about the server software and the second is referencing the Add-in.
