Layouts changing by themselves without touching

Dear all,

we have the problem that sometimes, during our seminar, another layout is beeing selected randomly without the hosts clicking it.

Can anyone help us with that? We´re still using Version 10 as a hosted service.

Thanks in advanced.

Christian

Seems like it is the other host (we all have a hard time owning our mistakes, I'm just as bad at swallowing my pride).

The scrolling of the layout bar is not sync'd between hosts. So they could have scrolled to the bottom of the list and accidentally selected the last layout. Touchpads are always a fun source of accidental clicks!

    Christian,

I've never heard of this happening, which isn't to say it can't. Throwing two ideas out there:

Do you use any custom pods? If yes, any chance that it happens when custom pod X is used?

Do you have more than one user in the Host role in the room? Any chance the other host wasn't as 'well behaved' as they could be and clicked on the other layout without realizing it forced everyone to the new layout with them?

    Dear Jorma,

there has been a second Host using the laptop`s touchpad instead of a mouse. And i know its more likly the other host did this, but denied it. But once, the layout has switched to the bottom layout without beeing visible in the list (as we have a long list of layouts). That was kind of mysterios.

Today, I asked the other host to place the layouts-bar on the left side, and we did not had this problem today.

So thank you for your answer! Just wanted to avoid falsely accusing my co-host.

But, as we all know, its always the co-host doing things wrong 😉

PS: using Timer/Stagelight Plugins as pods, but never had problems with that before.
