Locking pages on Acrobat Professional

Have just started using Acrobat Professional and was wondering how you lock pages so that you can only navigate around the document using the links. At the moment when you just click anywhere on the page it takes you to the next page and i want to stop this happening. Does anyone know if this can be done?

PS this only seems to be a problem when you are in full screen mode
