locking the share pods options

Is there a way to keep the share pod from changing from a white board to a desktop share.

    Take away Share pod rights (or demote to a participant).

    Assuming the person switching is not a host, you could put another pod overtop the control that lets you desktop share. A hack, but it works nonetheless.
