Looking for advice on buying a new computer

I am in the market for a new computer, I only have about a thousand bucks to spend so I was thinking about possibly buying a kit computer. I am looking for advice on where may be a good place to look for a computer and what are the most important points to consider when choosing a computer whose primary use will be Adobe CS4.

Thank You, Mike.

I am not sure how much a thousand bucks is (as I am not sure what currency you are working in) but is it not short sited to be focusing on CS4? I mean if I were to go out and buy a computer I would really be focusing on purchasing something that will last me for the next 5 years. Without a doubt I would purchase Windows 7, 64 bit. Reason being is that CS5 is geared towards that. I know that it is not in your plans to use it for CS5 but at least if you change your mind later on down the line.... or win the Lotto... you only have to pay to upgrade your software and not the hardware.
