Regarding meeting content such as PowerPoint or PDF files, when they are uploaded to a meeting are they downloaded on the participants PC, then used during the meeting? I'm looking at a limited connectivity situation where voice communication may only be possible.

PDF files are loaded into their local Flash Player cache and then any sync'd navigation through the document is very light bandwidth commands.

PPT content is converted to Flash and then pulled down to the local Flash Player cache. This is done in a very bandwidth friendly way and then again the commands to navigate through the slides are just light bandwidth calls to move to the next slide/animation.

I'd say it's worth testing to see if things work in the limited connectivity environments.
