Meeting Room Status on Website?

I was thinking about placing a link to my salesmen's individual meeting rooms as part of their contact info on our website, but wondered if there is a way to indicate if they are actively logged into the meeting room. Is there a way to indicate your meeting room status on a website?

    Upon a quick conversation, we think this is doable using Connect's XML API, but you're talking about custom development for sure.
