Meetings still trying to open in Flash

Hello. I a few meetings that are still trying to open in Flash. The content shows HTML5 compatible in admin view and I have checked the Force HTML5 boxes in Compliance and Control yet it still trys to open in Flash. I've tried Chrome, Edge, and Internet Explorer on multiple computers to the same avail. 

 

Is there anything else I need to look into to force the content to HTML5?

    So, we were updated to 11.2 yesterday and the problem still persists when trying to access curriculums. The individual content works fine if accessed directly, I only get the Flash message when attempting to access from the URL listed in the Curriculum Information section. I even tried creating a new Curriculum to ensure it wasn't an issue with the older content.

    This may be something to do with how the recordings are launched as Courses. This is something that the Adobe Connect product team needs to look at. I can confirm that I get the same experience when I have an Adobe Connect Recording as a Course within a Curriculum.

    The best work around I can offer is to add an External Training object in your curriculum and provide the link to the recording in the Content library. It won't have the same tracking/reporting in the curriculum but you will be able to see who accessed the recording through the curriculum reports.

    It looks like this is a bug that Adobe is aware of. I called support and was given bug tracking  #4125805.

      Are you trying to launch meetings or courses?

       

      If it is courses (on-demand content) then the settings in the compliance and control section of Connect won't have much affect. If the on-demand asset is Flash based, it can only launch as a Flash object. You would need to re-author the asset as HTML for the behavior to change.

      Hello,

       

      These are courses (Training tab) but all of the content within the course shows as HTML5 compatible. Example: one of the pieces of content that is listed:

      Name: Anaphylaxis (Presentation)

      HTML Compatible: Yes

      Type: Recording

       

      The "content" opens in Adobe Connect fine via the admin view when opening right from Content tab but tries to open in Flash when accessed from the course.

      Just some more info, all run on:

      W10 IE+Edge 1909 and 2004 with latest patches

      Chome 87.0.4280.141

       

      I've even tried forcing the use of the Adobe Connect app with the "Require Adobe Connect application" in Compliance and Control section as well.

      Just another update, this only occurs with 'Training' modules. I can open them if I enter the individual "Course URL" into Adobe Connect but it always attempts to open in Flash via any browser. 

       

      I have a ticket with support right now and will update this ticket with a resolution for anyone who might experience this in the future.
