Question

MP4 as shared content limitations?

I recently changed out all of our 20 min-countdown timers (.swf) to a 20 min-countdown timer MP4 file.  I placed the new MP4 file in a shared content folder and pointed all the courses to it for Posttest.  When the first course went to Posttest the timer played fine, however; when the second course went into it's Posttest 5 minutes later and the instructor started the timer, it paused the timer in the 1st course.  Then when third course started it's Posttest, both other courses stopped and his played.  We have at least 3-4 courses running at the same time.

So my questions is are there limitations on using a MP4 file as shared content when it is being used at the same time?  ie.. Play and Stop button.

Thanks,

Jeff

For clarification, we should make sure we are using terms the same way. When you say course, what do you mean? In Adobe Connect terminology, this means a single on-demand object in the Training library. You seem to be describing a meeting room.

You say you have multiple courses running at the same time. Is this multiple courses in the same meeting room or different meeting rooms?

Sorry...I meant Meeting rooms and the MP4 is shared amongst different meeting rooms.  Does that help?
