Question

Multiple Pre-Sets

I would like to be able to create multiple pre-sets that I can switch on the fly. For example, my first pre-set could be my camera fairly large and my PowerPoint small but at the touch of a single button (or key or mouse click) they would instantly but smoothly swap sizes. I could return them to the original pre-set by touching another button (or key, etc.). I'd like to create a few different pre-sets for use under differing condition. Is such a thing possible and, if so, can you point me to info on the solution?

Thanks.

And yes during a Connect session you easily switch between layouts as you are presenting so that all attendees follow the presenter.  That is a key differentiator compared to other web conference solutions.

I frequently start out a demo with a welcome room that is playing piano MP3 files and has the attendee pod as well as the chat pod.  Once everyone has joined I switch to my presentation layout that has the PPT and the Video pod with my webcam showing me. Next, I switch to a layout that has Flash video to share.  Then I switch to a layout that has the TalkingStick pod so I can share YouTube video and HD quality video. Then we switch to a layout that has a Captivate recording, Next is a layout with the Poll pod and a PDF file displayed where we whiteboard on top of it.

That is easy.  Your use of pre-sets is what Adobe Connect is called Layouts.  Use the layouts menu to create different views of the same of different presentations and content. You move the content around just as you want for each layout.  It is exactly what you are looking for.  Very cool feature.

Can layouts be changed during live events on the fly?
