My webcam is black. What do I do?

I am using an HP laptop with a built-in webcam. For some reason there are two webcams listed in the drop-down menu, but both are just black. What do I need to do?

Hello,

Can you check if Flash player is detecting your webcam or not? You can check that on any of the websites ( like Test Webcam - testwebcam - check your webcam) If it is working fine here, it should work fine inside your meeting room as well.. Also, let us know if you are using Connect addin or browser.
