Need a map - showing physical geographic location

OK I know a Connect 'competitor' has a cool little tool where users in a meeting room can 'pick up' a little magic wand tool and "click" on a map showing where they are physically located. Has anyone created something like this to be used in a Connect room? I've searched the SDK developer area with no luck. Ideally I need a "map" of the state of California and another of North America (Including Canada). Has anyone developed this? Can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks to anyone who can help.

    You can download the Footprints pod developed by RefinedData that uses Google maps to show where everyone is:

    They have pods for Connect 7.x and 8.0 but you will need to request version 8 pod since it has not been posted yet (2/2011)
