Question

Neither the new 4.2 closed captioning pod nor the old is working in 11.0--makes me use classic view.

Neither the new 4.2 closed captioning pod nor the old closed captioning pod is working in 11.0. Both share pods state that they are not compatible within the meeting room. Switching back to classic view does the trick, but it would be great if I could use the features of 11.0 for our future webinars. I'm running the meeting in the app, not the browser.

Adobe is working on including closed captioning in the base feature set of Adobe Connect. As a result, there isn't really any development/support left for the pod which has essentially be End of Life'd.

How do you get classic view?  I attempted to load classic but the standalone app freezes.

Its an option when I log in as an admin. Update: the closed captioning pod doesn't work in classic view either. Our closed captioning provider said they are asking Adobe to develop/fix a working pod.
