Never ending "loading adobe-connect" window

Am trying to connect to an existing adobe connect meeting on a networked PC at my college... but can never get past the above stated "launch window".

any ideas?  Flash and all is up to snuff.  cannot see any other issues acording to eh specs and installation information tha i can find.

    The hang at the loading screen is usually due to port 1935 being blocked on your computer/network. You can always try the test page to see if you can get more details about why this is happening. You'll need to insert the server URL for the account you are trying to access but the test page can be found at: youraccount.adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm
