Question

No url and explore button in welcome email

The welcome email I received did not contain a url or explore button. so I can not go beyond the profile and my plans adobe connect functions.

I recently signed up adobe connect trial version and upon registration, I downloaded the desktop application which is prompting for the meeting, seminar or content url to join. Instead of an actual login page for an administrator/owner as I have researched and seen videos of users simply clicking "explore adobe connect" button which is in their welcome email

That is the page for managing your Adobe.com account and Creative Cloud account, not Adobe Connect. Adobe Connect is not managed or listed on that page (I have no good answer as to why). To access your Connect account, you should have recieved a welcome email similar to this.

The desktop app is only used to join a meeting or seminar, as you discoverd. The account should be accessed through your account URL, which should have been provided in the Welcome email. It would look something like https://meet123456789.adobeconnect.com/ for a trial account. Use the username and password to log in to Connect Central (the web UI for managing Connect) and you can create and run meetings from there. The user gude link provided by Nancy may be useful once you are logged in.

Maybe your client doesn't support HTML e-mails
