Question

Page Up / Down and Up / Down keys

Has anyone noticed that Page Up / Down and Up / Down keys no longer work as shortcuts for presenter content in the share pod?  I wonder if this was due to a .x update?  Now we can no longer use a wireless remote to advance slides.

I see that the left and right arrow keys work with Presenter content. Here is the keyboard shortcut chart from the help system:

Shortcuts for presenter content in the Share pod

    Result

    Windows and Mac OS

    Start/Stop Desktop Sharing

Ctrl+[ (Windows) or Command+[ (Mac OS)

    Next page/slide

    Page Up or Right Arrow

    Previous page/slide

    Page Down or Left Arrow

    Play/Pause

I don't have a Page Up or Page Down key on my MacbookPro but the left and arrow keys works fine.  I'm using Presenter 7.07 and Connect 8.1.2 with the Host Add-in for Mac.
If is not working for you, then try opening the content in Microsoft Powerpoint, update your Presenter to 7.07 using the standard check ofr updates in Presenter tab under the Help button, then try re-saving/uploading the file to Connect. See if that fixes it. If not, then I suggest calling into Support.

    Heyward,

Left and right do work fine.  It's the page up and down keys that I am most concerned about that no longer work.  Support has been contacted as noted above.  They were able to duplicate the problem on their side.  It's definitely broken.  I will post to this forum when I hear something.

Jason, thanks for doing that. I don't have the page up or down keys so I could not test that. So, again, thanks for calling in a ticket.

These hot keys are still listed as funtioning, http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/8.0/using/WS5ae85155c1a0214d1172e081227b89777b-8000.html#WS5e953006aa800217-2e21eaae122a9c49b5b-8000.

Have you contacted Support to notify them of the problem?

They are *listed* as functioning, but do not.  I posted the message to:

    a) see if other users were also experiencing this issue (I believe they will)

    b) let users know this is a problem.

Yes, I have opened a case with Adobe.  I have not received any updates since, however.  I will update this furum when I hear somehting.
