Participants Cannot Hear the Youtube Video

youtube video was shared in a meeting but the audio is not being broadcast to the participants. I tested this on two computers and the participant computer audio is working fine.

Why are the participants not able to hear the audio in the youtube video?

    Sharing a video through screen sharing only shares the visual on the screen (and in the case of video, it does that poorly since the screen share frame rate is so much lower than the video's frame rate). If you can get the video from YouTube in FLV format and upload it directly to the share pod. Then everyone will be able to hear the audio from the video and see it more clearly on their computer.

    Hi,

    Were you sharing your screen while youtube video was playing in your browser? If yes, Screen share wont  broadcast your system's audio to other participants. If you want everybody to hear the audio as well, you should upload a FLV in the share pod instead.

    There are no standard downloaders but you can search for youtube downloader and google shall return tons of results for you.. you can basically download any video using that and then upload that in share pod in a Connect meeting.
