PDF Maker doesn't work

When I try to convert a document in Word to a PDF, the screen says "converting text boxes to activate threads", then a second box says "error occurred creating threads."

I used to be able to convert to PDF's with no problem.

I'm using Windows XP and Photoshop CS.

Any help would be MOST appreciated.  Thanks!
