Photo moves when using spot healing brush?

Every time I use my spot healing brush this always happens. I press the Option (Macintosh) to get a clone source and then press the mouse it will all of a sudden (even without keeping it clicked) my photo will move everywhere the mouse goes.
Its extremely frustrating I've reset my workspace many times restarted my computer... everything and i can't seem to get the spot healing brush to work without the photo moving all over the place. everything else works except this one and i'm afraid I'm on a bit of a deadline to get these photos done
