Pod resizing stickiness

I assume that there was an update behind the scenes last weekend.  Since then, the appearence (color) of the pods has changed.

While resizing a pod after unclicking the corner of the pod, my mouse pointer continued to be connected and i could NOT let go.  I had to click many more times before it finally let go at a size i did not want but i didn't want to try resizing again so i left it.   

If undoing the update from the weekend could fix this issue, I would choose to do that but the updates happen behind the scenes so...

If there was an email with an explanation of the updates, I didn't get it, our administrator didn't get it.
