Poor print quality in Adobe 9.0 Professional

Can someone help me.  I used to be able to print great quality pdfs, and all of a sudden, the print quality is such low resolution that it is unreadable.  I tried reinstalling Adobe Professional and that didn't work.  Can someone tell me if there is a setting that I need to check/uncheck to get the print quality back?
