Problems running Breeze Add-in on Mac OSX

I am having some problems running the Breeze Add-in on Mac OSX. When I login to the conference, the add-in starts and displays the text: "Loading Breeze" in black, on a white background. The flash component of breeze starts correctly, but when I want to share the screen by clicking "My computer screen", the add-in pops to the foreground and keeps displaying the same "Loading Breeze" message. Nothing else happens.

I am running: Mac OSX 10.4.7 on a MacBook Pro, Safari 2.0.4/ Firefox 1.5.0.6 / Latest Flash Player 9 (uninstalled and installed just now, to make sure) / Latest Breeze Addin found at https://service.breezecentral.com/go/breeze_addin_install_mac/. (version 7.0.55.118).

Thanks a lot,

Mik

Has this issue been resolved? Jeff said in August that this would be resolved in the Fall, and it's almost Christmas. I've been searching about for a solution, and this is the first place on the site I found mention of the problem (it's still a problem, at least for me on the iMac I just unpacked two days ago).

    Thanks much.

There is a work around! A Macintel user here said that the following works:

Set the browser (or a copy of your browser) to enable Rosetta (it's under Get Info) Everything run from there will run under Rosetta in PPC mode, and all is fine.

I experienced the exact problems and also had no luck conferencing in my camera on my Intel iMac. I found that uninstalling the Breeze Add-in, and Flash and reinstalling the following:
    Breeze Add-in: 7,0,55,118
    Flash 9,0,20,0
Safari 1.0.4 running in Rosetta Mode (get info >General>Run in Rosetta

Solved all problems. Thanks to Ian and GetBreeze for the research and tips.

    Hi Ben, et. al.:

This issue will be addressed in the next release in the fall; the new
    add-in will work on MacTel.

    PROBLEM:
MacTel (Intel CPU Macs) have problems running the Breeze Add-in under
Mac OSX. When you login to a meeting, the add-in starts and displays
    the text: "Loading Breeze" in
    black, on a white background.
If you aren't sharing the screen or documents, the flash component of
Breeze will start correctly, and bring you into the meeting to view as
a participant without issue, But when you want to share the screen by
clicking "My computer screen", the add-in pops to the foreground and
keeps displaying the same "Loading Breeze" message. Nothing else
    happens.

    REASON:
Incompatibiltiy with Intel-based Mac. PowerPC-based Macs have no
issues. Unfortunately, there is no known workaround currently for this
    problem.

    Hope this helps!

    Jeff,

Are your looking for beta testers for the Macintel-compatible Breeze Add-In? I'd be happy to test it.

I'm getting the same thing — I think it must be something to do with the fact that Breeze is not ready for the new intel Macs (the add-in must not be a Universal Binary). I wish this would happen soon as I would like to start using Breeze more regularly. Right now the only tool that seems to work on the new intel Macs is LiveMeeting (ironically by Microsoft)!
