Problems with users on Mac trying to view recordings

I have received a couple of emails from users trying to view a password protected recording on connect. They open the url in either safari or chrome and enter the password the follwoing then happens:

  1. The page refreshes and the password disappears
  2. It asks them to download Adobe Connect or to try again - They try again as they already have the app and it goes back to 1.

I don't have a Mac so can't test it out but has anyone had similar problems and found a solution

    Apple changed something in Safari with the latest update for the Mac OS. It is not correctly launching the Add-in for Connect. The best workaround is to have them use any other web browser.

    Ok, but they also tried chrome and had the same problem so I'm still not sure what is up.

    We are an all Mac organization and I've put off upgrading us to Sierra - the last time when we went to El Capitan we had all kinds of troubleshooting until Adobe upgraded? I see one scheduled for Nov 6 so this might be part of it?

    My newest problem is the mic freezing!
