Question

QoS setup and client to client connections?

Can I get a bit of a heads up. I'm looking at an on-premise server setup for an enterprise with multiple sites.

I need to prioritise traffic for Connect to make sure we don't get any packet loss on audio/video down some tightly constrained links to branch sites. I can do that easily for client <-> server traffic just using the server IP address and the 80/443/1935 ports. I can't do that for client <-> client communications as those ports get used for a lot of other applications.

Can you advise on whether there are any client <-> client direct communications with Connect, or do all communications get routed via the server?

Also does Connect set the ToS / DSCP byte within the IP packet header?

All communications get routed via the server. So you shouldn't need to worry about client <-> client settings.

I'll see if I can get you an answer on the IP packet header.
