Question about Adobe Connect add in for Outlook

Is there a way when you create a room within the Outlook add-in to choose which template it will be based on?  If not, is there a way to update the room to use a different template after the room is created in Outlook?

    No to both questions.

    The add-in can only look to the rooms present in your My Meetings folder.

    Once created the only way to modify a room is from within the room itself. Otherwise you will need to delete the room and recreate it against a different template.
