Single Speaker Mode

Hi

I have a problem with single speaker mode.

Users icons are blanked out, and they are unable to click on the asterix mic icon.

What do I need to do so that this works?

Many thanks

Bob

It sounds like it is working as it should. The astrix'd mic icon means that someone else is speaking and so the broadcast functionality for everyone else is disabled.

You can turn off single speaker mode, and then everyone could speak at the same time.

Are the user icons you are refering to the icons you can use to give mic rights as a host when you mouse over the participants? It would make sense that those are blanked out while you are speaking, because they couldn't use the mic at that moment with single speaker mode.

Thanks Jorma

The user icons I'm refering to are the attendees mic icons on their own remote desktops.

They seem unable to select the mic and take ownership of it.  So for example...

I ask them a question, ask them to take the mic and respond, but they find the mic + Asterix icon is greyed out, and they are unable to take the mic from me to reply.

This seems the same with all attendees i am working with.

Thanks for your help.  Much appreciated.

Have you stopped your broadcast? You may want to double check since just clicking on the mic icon will only mute your mic, not disconnect it. If your mic is still connected, then the other individuals in the room will not be able to connect their mic.
