Slides Freezing in Adobe Connect Share Pod

Hi, everyone! My company has experienced the freezing of PowerPoint slides within the “Share” pod. At seemingly random times we might, for example, be unable to advance from slide 6 to slide 7 or from slide 55 to 56. We’re still able to move backwards to previous slides but can’t move forward. This is happening in multiple rooms and as part of multiple presentations. It only impacts one slide each time, but never the same slide. Can anyone advise us about this problem?

When this occurs, we’re able to advance a few slides ahead by using the “Outline” view of the Share pod, but this requires us to skip at least one slide. If, for example, we can’t get to slide 48, we can use the outline view to move from slide 47 to 49, but we still can’t get to 48.

We’ve confirmed that we’re using the most recent version of Adobe Connect. We didn’t make any changes to our rooms prior to this problem. The rooms were created years ago, and the presentations within the Share pod have been there for at least a year. The slides don’t include any animations.

We’ve provided log files to our Adobe vendor, but those files supposedly didn’t clarify the cause.

Thanks!

An update: This issue occurs when using the Adobe Connect desktop application but NOT when using the browser version.
