SMTP Mail Service is not functioning

Using Breeze 5.1 with service pack 2, I cannot send e-mail from the server. I know the SMTP server is working since it is hosting other applications.

Is there anyway of troubleshooting SMTP e-mail issues?

    We experienced something like this. Our SMTP server was only sending messages to local accounts and not to other email addresss. This was due to security measures in place that prevented non authenticated mail being sent through the server. We had to use a less secure SMTP set up to get it to work. The IT people set up a trusted relationship between the too servers, but this is only a workaround and not a solution.

    I have the same problem. Could the problem be that port 25 is used to access the SMTP server? Does Breeze require another port?
