Student not seeing captions in caption pod

An issue popped up last week for one of our students with the caption pod. She said on her end it looked like the caption pod was grayed out like it does before it's connected, although we could see the captions streaming just fine. She's using the same computer she has been using for a couple of years, and so I suggested she make sure Adobe Connect and Flash were both updated, which she did. Yet for the next class, she had the same issue. I closed out the caption pod, relaunched it, and connected the stream again, after which she could see the captions.

She didn't have class Monday, and her next class is tomorrow, and so I wanted to find out if anyone else has experienced this and what you did to resolve it in case the same thing happens again and in case relaunching the caption pod doesn't work.
