I have some questions about teleconference capabilities. Can my attendees use our teleconference system if it is not one of the Adobe "approved" systems? To let our participants us our teleconference system does the Host have to use it also, or can the Host use VOIP?

You can use any teleconferencing system you want.  It just won't be integrated with Adobe Connect.  It is basically the same as having a conference call, except people are looking at a computer at the same time.  The host would have to use the TC system if the participants were going to listen to him/her via the phone.  The best thing to do is get a device that patches the phone into the computer, like a THAT-2 by JK Audio.  Then, you can have everyone on the TC system and run VOIP at the same time for those who wanted VOIP.  Not sure if I understood/answered your questions, so let me know if you need clarification.
