Text doesn't always animate in power point

We're running into this weird issue, where the new slides we've added to our power point won't animate on screen. We've gone up down the other slides and there doesn't appear to be a difference between the two. It works fine in the Power Point preview mode, but when we exported for connect with the Adobe Presenter and upload to connect, the new text doesn't animate at all

Anyone else experience this and found a way to fix it?
