There was an error converting your file

Hi all, I get the error message "There was an error converting you file" when I try to upload a PPTX file to Adobe Connect while on a Mac.

 

I have saved the version as a ppt and still get the same error. If I send the file to another person they are able to upload the file from a windows computer. After looking at old blogs and following their instructions I have come to a dead end as to why I cant upload a file and others can upload the same file.

 

Appreciate any more recent guidance to this error. Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried re-installing the Connect Desktop App? There were some fixes for Mac users that were significant in the last few updates. https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/connect-downloads-updates.html#Application

    Hi Jorma, thank you for your reply. That worked. It is a little bit but chance that I had a big webinar to host on the same day as the Apple update which, I assume now to, block the functionality. So lesson learnt about doing updates and a big sigh of relief on my end. Thanks for helping 🙂
